There are lots of exciting opportunities to get involved in Osoyoos's 8th Half Iron Event.

Over 200 volunteers are needed for the Desert Half Iron Triathlon. Volunteers are the lifeblood of a successful event. We will need a range of volunteers in the days leading up to the event, the day of the race and the day after (there’s always cleanup to leave the town and course as you found it). The day will be a long one and your support is essential to the success of the race.

Anyone who volunteers for a shift will receive a complimentary Desert Half Iron Volunteer shirt and an invitation to share lunch with the athletes after the race.

As long as volunteer positions need to be filled, we’ll be signing people up. If you’re not planning to race and would like to help, that would be really appreciated.If your club, team, school or non-profit group would like to earn some money by helping out at the race, please email Sarah at sarah@outbackevents.ca

Without volunteers there will be no race, they are one of the major contributing factors to the success of our event. Please don’t hesitate to become part of this exceptional experience.
